Hello, I apologyze for not giving my name away first of all, secondly I need to know what my options are if my father and mother who are permanent residents in the USA can file an I-130 for me? They obtained their legal status thru the department of labor but at the time they were approved I was already 21 years of age (the whole process started in 2000and lasted for 5 years or so); one lawyer told me that I cannot do anything since I was over 21 but I just have been in a different lawyer who told me that yes I can adjust my status thank to a grandfather law that can help me to achieve my goal in working legally in this country. I am an unmarried daughter and 27 years of age at this time.
I just don't want to spend those $5,500 can this lawyer is asking me for his services, I appreciate very much your replies and my family will too

Hello,
I am currently on L1 individual extension in US.
I will be traveling to India shortly for 2 week vacation. I will be attending the visa interview for stamping at Chennai before my return to US.
Can someone tell me/share what are the chances of visa getting stamped? What kind of questions to expect?
I hope that since i am already on extension in US, visa stamping is just a formality at US embassy?
Please let me know ASAP.

contact the following people and ask what you need to do to file taxes:
1. contact employer
2. contact your payroll company (like adp, etc) that process your company's payroll
3. contact IRS helpline or customer service (including local or state tax dept)
4. contact experienced tax consultant (CPAs)
I thought employer should have arranged for duplicate one. if not contact above all people and find out what you can do about it.

Was with a bunch of D3 users!!
Nice machine. They were taking images long after the 1Ds and 1D "3"s gave up in the light....
Will be interesting to see how they deal with the noise.

Hey,
i created a "Deep Zoom classic + Source" template.
The only thing i still need for my project is to know when a image got clicked/is in the users focus!!! (a single subimage)!
I would be very thankful for help. (A method would be the best and the insert point!)
Yeah i know there are some methods on google but they don't fit in this generated code...
Deep Zoom is very cool but i don't understand why the api is so bad designed.
There should be a event on subimage, something like "Clicked", "focused"...

This used to be no big deal, but since we've seen many RFE's and rejections for H1B extension at VSC, I feel like posting here. My employer is a midsized consultancy corp, pretty decent for the time I worked for them in past two years so I suspect they don't have any past violations. My six year H1B will expire end of this year. H1B extension was filed last week on premium processing. It is 3 year extension based on approved I-140. It is approved about 7 days after receipt.

I am an American and my wife is going though the green card application process. We recently received our interview date. Unfortunately, it was scheduled one day prior to our wedding ceremony which is out of the country. Our wedding is being presided over by the mayor of a fairly large city, with like 300 or so guests and at this point would be impossible to change. At the same time I hear that mixing international travel and rescheduling green card interviews is a risky thing.
We have an infopass scheduled in two weeks, and beyond the supporting documents of our flight and wedding information, is there anything else we should bring to prove that we can't possibly be at this interview? Is this something a lawyer might be able to handle better (like have more credibility)?
Anyone willing to give odds on us successfully changing our interview date?
